UPVC cleaning & restoration

Make tired UPVC look clean and bright again

Dirty, stained and weathered UPVC can make an otherwise well-kept home look tired. We deep clean window frames, doors, fascias, soffits and cladding to bring them back to a cleaner, brighter finish.

Why clean your UPVC?

UPVC is built to last, but it still collects dirt, algae, staining and grime over time. A proper clean can make a noticeable difference to the appearance of your property.

01

Improve the look of your home

Clean white frames, doors and fascias can make the whole property look fresher, brighter and better cared for.

02

Remove built-up grime

We tackle everyday dirt, algae, green growth, staining and grime around frames, sills, corners and other awkward areas.

03

Save money on replacement

If your UPVC is still structurally sound, cleaning it can be a much more affordable option than replacing windows, doors or fascias.

What we clean

More than just window frames

UPVC is used all around the outside of a property. We can clean a range of UPVC surfaces as part of the same job.

Window frames

Remove dirt, algae and staining from UPVC window frames and sills.

UPVC doors

Clean front, back and side doors to lift grime and weather staining.

Fascias & soffits

Bring dirty, green or weathered UPVC around the roofline back to a cleaner finish.

Conservatory frames

Clean the UPVC framework around conservatories where dirt can build up in corners and along seals.

UPVC cladding

Remove surface grime and organic growth from external UPVC cladding.

Details & edges

We pay attention to sills, corners, hinges and other areas that are easily missed by a quick clean.

Our process

How we clean your UPVC

We use UPVC-safe cleaning products and gentle agitation to lift built-up dirt without relying on harsh abrasive scrubbing.

01

Assess the condition

We look at the condition of the UPVC and the type of staining or discolouration present, so we can give you a realistic idea of the result.

02

Apply a specialist cleaner

We use suitable UPVC cleaning products to break down dirt, grime, algae and surface contamination.

03

Agitate the surface

Soft brushes are used to work the cleaner into the surface and around edges, corners, seals and other detailed areas.

04

Rinse and finish

The UPVC is thoroughly rinsed and checked before we leave, with the surrounding area kept clean and tidy.

What to expect

Can stained or yellowed UPVC be restored?

Often, yes — but the result depends on the condition and age of the UPVC.

Surface dirt & grime

Heavy surface dirt, algae and general grime can usually be cleaned away effectively.

Green growth & staining

Organic growth and staining around frames, sills and fascias can often be significantly improved with a proper clean.

Old or sun-damaged UPVC

Very old, oxidised or heavily sun-damaged UPVC may not return to its original bright white. We'll be honest about what is achievable.

Questions

UPVC cleaning FAQs

What UPVC surfaces can you clean?

We clean window frames, doors, fascias, soffits, cladding and conservatory frames. If you're unsure whether something can be cleaned, get in touch and we can advise.

Can you make yellowed UPVC white again?

A deep clean can make a significant difference where the discolouration is caused by dirt, staining or surface contamination. Very old or heavily sun-damaged UPVC may not return completely to its original colour, and we'll explain what to expect.

Will cleaning damage the UPVC?

We use UPVC-safe cleaning products and soft brushes rather than abrasive methods. The aim is to remove the contamination without damaging the surface or seals.

How often should UPVC be cleaned?

Once a year is a good starting point for most homes. Properties near busy roads, trees or areas with more algae growth may benefit from more frequent cleaning.

Do I need to be at home?

Not always. If there is safe external access, we can often complete the work while you're out. We'll confirm the arrangement when your appointment is booked.
